Well, the cookies came out alright, so i'm feelin' good. Also, I just found a new Blog/CMSy tool called WordPress, which looks interesting. After a year of waiting, it looks like Textpattern is almost ready to go. With MT 3.0 and Pro coming soon as well, there will be many many new toys to play with! What to do, what to do...

So, i got hit by some asshole using the FloodMT tool. Sigh. I've upgraded to 2.66, and MTBlacklist really helped clean it all up, but its still a pain.

What i really wanted to talk about was how i've been feeling all 'home-maker-ish' the past few nights. I've been in a baking frenzy! Pie the other night, chocolate-chip cookies tonight, after the leg of lamb main course, of course. This is all part of my getting ready to be the stay-at-home-dad - we've been practicing all last week, as Ciara is back to work on Wednesday. So, i've been home alone with Conor during the day while Ciara has been out seeing many movies! I also thought that i needed to get my baking skills dusted off, since i'm going to be home, i better be baking.

I haven't done any work on the travelog, i hope to get part one done tomorrow. But, as in all things, we will see.

So, we've been back for over a week and this is kind of the first chance i've had to write something. Unfortunatly, now that i'm taking care of Conor full time, i'm finding that at the end of the day, i don't have much left over for writing in the blog.

I do have many photos and a whole diary of the trip, which i'm working on to get up here. No ETA yet, but this weekend should give me some more time to work on it.

In closeing, all is well, just busy and lots of new changes. More when i'm more awake. Peace.

Are here, have been keeping pretty good notes, so i should have some good posts about the trip once i'm back. Quick update, Conor was great on the plane, tho Ciara and I couldn't really sleep - too worried about Con. Sleep for him over here has been a bit of a problem, but we've not let it slow us down, and have been out and about every day. The weather is great here - at least 10 everyday, and very little rain. So, so far, all is good. Looking forward to the train to Paris tomorrow! More when i get a chance!

This is something that is going to make the data sharing parts of the ChatSpaces project much easier to do. I've got a very basic Server writen right now, still working on the Client. I doubt that i'll get any programming done over the trip, but i'll keep thinking about it!

Well, with the whole Holiday thing over, the rush to get everything done before the end of the work year, and the post-holidays "blahs", i've not had too much time to post. I'm going to give a quick update and over-view of what's happened, and why there probably will not be too many more posts for the next two weeks.
