Jury Duty, day 1

So, it was… kinda boring. I’m only there till Friday, which is nice, rather then a whole week. I’m actually hoping that i get called for a trial as the waiting around is, well, just like waiting around. Actually it wasn’t that bad, as i had some music on my phone, and i managed to read a whole novel - “Whit” by Ian Banks. I had not read any of his non-scifi books before, so i wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a very enjoyable read, I’ll probably be taking another of his novels tomorrow. I could take the laptop, for watching some DVDs or programming or whatever. Its just kind of a pain to lug around. Its nice to have the time to power through a book in one day - haven’t had the chance to do that in ages.
