Bookmark nerdvana

If you remember my bellyaching about bookmarking woes (1 2), i’ve found the perfect solution! It has the two most important factors that i require - Backup/Replication and tagging (a-la del.icio.us). Using the following two firefox add-ons provide this bliss:

Caveats Foxmarks by default sync’s to their own server, however you can set it up to use your own server, keeping your data on your own hardware, nice! The Bookmark Tags plug-in will wreak havoc on your bookmarks folder hierarchy, so if you are not prepared to use it completely, for all your searching/browsing, you might want to test it out first on a fresh install, so it doesn’t mess with your current bookmarks…
